Update on Buddy

Thank you so much for all the well wishes for Buddy. He did great for his surgery and is now home resting. He has stitches and surgical glue on his neck incision, his eye growth is all gone and he has a shaved forearm where he had his IV. Buddy will be on some pain meds and goes back in 10 days to get his stitches removed. To answer some questions from yesterday, Yes we got his nails trimmed. Buddy is starting on a Fish oil capsule and Hydroxyzine for now to help get his itching under control. If you missed my post yesterday here's what was going on with Buddy... Most of you already know, Buddy is our 14 year old mix breed dog. Well Buddy had a trip to the vet yesterday for some itchy skin allergies and to have a growth on his neck rechecked. We have been watching this growth for a few years and it has recently gotten larger (it used to be the size of a grape and now it’s about the size of a ping pong ball) and he scratched it and it has a sore on it now. So today Buddy had surgery to have this growth removed and also a small growth on his eyelid.

News About Our Dog Buddy

We've been having a busy Summer!! Anakin, Mika and the gang are doing great. More about them later though. This post is about our dog Buddy. Most of you already know, Buddy is our 14 year old mix breed dog. Well Buddy had a trip to the vet today for some itchy skin allergies and to have a growth on his neck rechecked. So tomorrow morning Buddy will be having surgery to have this growth removed and also a small growth on his eyelid. I will keep you all posted on how he's doing after his surgery.
