Happy Halloween Everyone! We hope you all have a safe and fun night! Anakin and Mika were more interested in the pumpkin and my two plastic cats (Holiday & Bones) than helping me get a good pic to post! So here are a whole bunch of "ok" pics.
Meet Anakin! Ani is a two legged cat, born without a pelvis or back legs but that doesn't stop him. He is full of love & life! My family and I rescued Anakin and I am caring for him. My family and I are lifelong animal lovers and will give Ani the absolute best possible home, love and care. I post updates, photos and videos of Anakin on his website, Facebook page, Twitter, YouTube and other online sites.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for this site. My cat Geoffrey was run over a week ago and will soon have one of his back legs amputated. We are hoping that his other back leg will recover fully, but there's always a chance that it wont. I've been so depressed and worried, assuming that with no back legs he'd have to be put to sleep. Anakin is a true inspiration, and finding this site today has cheered me up so much and really warmed my heart :0)
ReplyDeleteHi Rebekah, I am so sorry about you cat Geoffrey. I hope that he will be ok. Cats adapt amazingly well so I think he will do fine. There are quite a few cats on facebook with pages that are similar to Anakin or have had to have their legs amputated too. Dottie the Two legged Cat & Terminator the Two legged Cat That Can are two that come to mind. You should check out their pages too :)
