Mika is Home! Yay! Pixs~

Anakin's New Brother from another Mother! Mika has about 3/4 of a tail. He has all of one leg except for the actual foot part where the pads and toes would be, and his other leg stops a little ways passed his knee and just rounds off at the end. They say he was born this way. I will be posting his whole story here soon.

 

Mika slept on my lap like this the whole car ride home :) 

 

One more pix of him sleeping in my lap. He would wake up and purr and look out the windows a little and then go right back to sleep.

 

Here's Anakin smelling and pawing at Mika under the door. There was a little bit of hissing but nothing really bad.

 

Mika getting comfy in the bathroom. We are taking him to the vet tomorrow to get looked over. He won't be in the bathroom nearly as long as Anakin was since Mika is already pretty big. The introductions should go really fast.  I'm not sure if you can tell from this photo but he has about 3/4 of a tail. I will try and get close up pix of them soon. We will know more about what to do to protect his back legs after talking to the vet tomorrow. His legs remind me a lot of a kitty named Dottie but her legs are this way due to trauma. 

 

My wonderful neighbor (Thank you Joanna!) used to be a pet groomer and she came over this morning a brushed all of the big matted fur knots out of Mika's neck fur. He has a few bald patches on his neck now but is really happy he can get some good neck scratching :) He is still really dirty though. As long as my vet thinks it's ok we are going to give him a bath tomorrow.
