Anakin's BIG Stretch!

 

 Streeeeeeeeeetch!!!! You know how your cat stands up from a nap arches their back and stretches? Well this is how Anakin does that. I caught him mid stretch on one of the cat tower perches so it's slightly blurry but you get the idea 😉 Also thank you all for the well wishes and UTI info. He's continuing to get better & I'm looking into a few things that were suggested to help him. ❤ My fantasy cat art is on the wall behind him https://Tigerpixie.com

Anakin by the fire & UTI again

Anakin warming himself by our fireplace heater 😊❤ Long story short, Anakin had another UTI last week (his last one was just in September). We did the usual treatment of antibiotics, probiotics, anti-inflammatory shot and some nausea med when he needed it. We decided to try and slowly switch him over to a urinary health food to hopefully keep him from getting so many UTIs. So far so good. He likes the little bit of the Royal Canin Urinary SO Morsels with Gravy mixed with his current food. I was hoping that Mika would also like it since he eats the dry food version. Nope, for some reason Mika just doesn't like wet food. Anakin had his urine rechecked today and all came back normal! Yay! However he does have a little bit of a cold from getting stressed out at the vet last week. He's doing fine though and getting lots of extra love and cuddles.
