New Photo ~ Anakin helping me paint

 

So yesterday for the first time since I brought Anakin home.... I Painted! Yay! I am finishing up a painting of a gorgeous cat with a pair of cute little owls. Of course the second I had all of my art supplies out Anakin had to come over and see what I was up to. He smelled my paint water, paint brushes and looked around at the canvas for a minute. Then went up to the perch on the cat tower and watched me paint from there. He's going to be such a good little painting helper :) Oh an yes I will be painting & drawing Ani once this painting is done ;) For those of you that are new to Anakin's page. New Photo ~ Anakin & His Nicknames

 

Anakin sitting on his stairs to the window sill. He sits like this a lot, with his booty on the top step & legs on the next step :) Question for you... We all have nicknames we call our furbabies other than their given name. Anakin has quite a few nicknames, Of course we call his "Ani" the most. I also call him "The Baby", "Lil Man", "Boogie" and another variation of that "Boogins" :) My other cats also have nicknames, George is "Georgie Porgie", Trixie is "Big Girl", Zoe is "Grumpy" or "Baby Girl" and Pixie is "Pudgie" or "Pudge". What nicknames do you call your furbabies?

New Photo Anakin's Christmas Tree comes down.

 

We took down the Christmas tree yesterday. Anakin was a little bummed about it. After all it was one of his sleeping places for over a month. He was hiding under the tree sections before I put them in the box like it was his own little jungle. He took off under the bed once I got the vacuum cleaner out though. I told him if 2013 goes by as quickly as 2012 did the tree will be back up in no time! :)

Anakin with another batch of gorgeous Christmas Cards we got in the mail. Thank you so much to all of you!! It has been a nice surprise to get all of these cards in the mail. ((((GIANT HUGS))) I also added in a few of Ani's 6 Months Birthday cards in this pic that I didn't get photos of already ;) Thank you to you all too!! :) Anakin wouldn't look at the camera when I was taking this pic. Instead he's looking at my daughter standing on a chair next to me shaking some beads LOL! Beads! We all know Ani LOVES beads! :)

New Video! Anakin & Our Dog Buddy

I am often asked how Anakin is getting along with our dog, Buddy. They are getting a long really well. This video shows Anakin bathing, kneading & purring in his favorite bed with Buddy close by. Buddy has been around our cats his whole life and doesn't mind them at all.
