New Photo~ ~ Mika is on his way!!

 

We are heading out in a little while to get Mika! He is already on his way. He left his wonderful Texoma Pets Alive foster family this morning and met up with the first transport person, the lovely Bucky Eads! Here's Mika with Bucky in the travel kennel. I will do my best to post more pixs from my phone and will take lots more pixs with my camera! I'm so excited!! :)

New Video! Anakin Being a Brat To Trixie

Anakin can be a feisty little man when he feels like it. I usually catch him chasing Pixie around the house BUT this time Trixie was getting all the "LOVE"! Trixie just wanted to sleep like a queen on the top of the tower but Anakin had other ideas. Ani does some pretty fancy spins and flips around while messing with Trixie. Of course he had to get the last hit in at the end and then look at me all sweet and innocent.

Anakin is getting a Brother! Happy Valentine's Day!

Wonderful news! I'm adopting another special needs cat. I saw him in a facebook photo yesterday and fell in love with him. Through the networking help of a lot of people online ( Texoma Pets Alive & Friends of Arlington Animal Services) we were able to get this kitty rescued from the shelter. He is currently in a foster home and my hubby and I will be driving part of the way to pick him this weekend! Her he is.... How adorable is he! I can't wait to go get him. I am told that he is missing one back leg, the other back leg is only a half of a leg and he's missing half his tail. He looks Purrfect to me! :)

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone! Anakin says, "I can't wait to meet my brother from another mother!" :D I got a little update on Mika at his foster home. "He is doing great, getting around really well, and that he's friendly with her other cat. He also needs a bath, but they gave him Frontline at the shelter, so she didn't want to bathe him." All good news! I also have asked if they can find out any back story on him. Where he came from? Was he someone's pet? etc. If I find out anything else I'll let you all know.

Caffrey ~ Another Amazing 2 Legged Cat!

Check out Caffrey! :) He's another amazing cat that his only 2 legs due to amputation. Both legs are on the same side & Caffrey can is still run around juts fine :) Bravo to Caffrey's owners for taking care of him. He's got awesome balance just like Anakin! Go Caffrey!! :D

New Photo ~ Anakin's Grooming Brush

 

We got Anakin a Grooming Brush Post today :) Here he is checking it out which of course means sniffing it. Hopefully with a little time he will figure out that he can rub his face and sides on it when he has an itch & no one is around. I put some cat nip on it and all of the cats have been checking it out but no one has used it as a brush yet.
