Pixie Update 💜 Much better

Pixie Update 💜 Pic from today. She still looks a little out of it but she is doing much better. She still seems pretty high and her pupils do not get much smaller in the light. She is acting like she feels a lot better and has purring and making biscuits. She’s been eating her foods and is using her litter box again. I am still keeping her in my bedroom away from everyone else. I’m keeping a close eye on her. I am not sure if she has slept? That makes 72 hours today. She does  seem calmer and does rest and put her head down but her eyes stay open. If she did sleep, it would’ve been last night when I was asleep, so I don’t know if she did. When I did wake up and check on her she was awake. Thank you so much for all of your well wishes and love for Pixie! We really do appreciate it 💜💜💜

Pet Pain Medication Zorbium, Pixie has a UTI. Anakin & Kazu say Hi!

Important post about the pet pain medication Zorbium! Also Anakin is doing great. I’ve included a pic of Ani & Kazu sleeping together on my bed. Zorbium… Pixie has been sick with a bad UTI. Then on top of that she has had a horrible reaction to the pain medication they gave her. It’s a transdermal medication that went on the back of her head. It’s supposed to last for four days! It is called Zorbium. I will make sure none of my cats ever get this medication again! We are only 24 hours in. She has Peed on herself twice. She’s hallucinating, paranoid, her pupils are huge. She cannot relax and go to sleep. I don’t think she has slept since before her vet appointment yesterday. This morning she was walking like she had a stroke so we went back to the vet. They said no she is just extremely high. They gave her fluids to try and help flush this medication out of her system faster. So I currently have her set up in my bedroom with pee blankets on my bed and I’m babysitting her because she can’t really be alone yet. She has eaten some wet food with extra water in it so hopefully she will be feeling much better in the next 24 hours because 96 hours of this would be torture for her! Had I known more about this medication I would not have let them use it on her. I will keep you posted on how she’s doing ❤️

Anakin Pics 💙💜

Anakin is doing great! 💙💜 He gave me a big scare in April & May! He had diarrhea which caused him to get two UTIs back to back. His wonderful vet got him all fixed up both times with antibiotics, anti-inflammatory shot, probiotics and we’ve started him on a new prescription food for urinary stress that is mixed with his prescription gastrointestinal food. He’s doing much better and loves his new food. While he was at the vet, we also had blood work done, which came back great, so I’m happy about that since he is 11 years old. I’m sorry I haven’t been posting much. I’ve been very busy with family stuff. Here are a few recent pics 😻
