Trixie wanted me to let you know, Kazu is home & with his brother Forrest. I want to thank you all for your condolences, donations, orders from my website & Etsy, Sympathy Cards and a beautiful anonymous gift of a Memorial Candle with Kazu's photo on it and a wooden heart frame. Thank you so much.  I'm so sorry I have not been able to reply to all the messages, I have been trying to read them. It's just been really hard. We miss him so much! With your help I was able to raise about 1/3 of Kazu's vet bill. This will really help me and my family a lot. I will be extending my website and Etsy sale through September 8th if anyone else would like to order some of my cat art.

Please Help Me Wish a Happy 4th Birthday to My Boys! Kazu, Romeo & Quincy!! 🎂🎉🎁😺🐾❤️ Wishing the most wonderful birthday ever to my sweet baby boys & many more! & to their feral mom Mama Moo Moo that I still feed and take care of . Kazu is spending his birthday still hospitalized at the Emergency Vet for an infection and Diabetic Ketoacidosis. I do not have a morning update yet. They are waiting on some lab work. I will make an update after I hear from them. I will also let them know it’s his birthday today since I can’t see him So they can give him extra cuddles. 💚 Also thinking of Forrest at the Rainbow Bridge today on what would have been his 4th Birthday too 🌈We all love you boys so much! Xoxox!! 🎂🎁🎉

Forrest supervising me working. This was December 20th. He didn't seem sick at all. We loved this silly boy so much! We miss him terribly 😿💔 I want to thank you all for your donations, orders from my website & etsy and all of your condolences. I'm sorry I have not been able to read them all and reply yet. It's just been too hard. I will though please give me a little more time. With your help I was able to raise $1500. towards Forrest's $6000. vet bill. This will help me and my family a lot. 💚 Forrest 8/14 /2020 - 12/25/2022 💚 Rest In Peace

I am heartbroken to share Anakin's little brother Forrest passed away on Christmas night. Rest in Peace Forrest 8/14/2020 - 12/25/2022. We had the Vets do everything they could to try and save him. After being treated at my regular vet Thursday (22nd) he didn’t improve. Forrest was hospitalized at the 24 hour emergency vet Friday morning (23rd) They thought he could have Feline Triaditis based on his bloodwork Liver values but his Glucose levels were very higher Friday morning. They started treating him for Diabetic Ketoacidosis. They thought he was getting better Christmas Day (25th). We were able to visit him Christmas afternoon. It was heartbreaking seeing him like that. He knew were there, and he was happy to see us. Then 11:38pm Christmas night, they called us and said he had passed away. We had no idea he was sick. Earlier in the week he was still eating, drinking, playing and acting normal. it all happened so fast and we are completely heartbroken. He was only 2 years old. He was the sweetest boy. I still can’t believe he’s gone. We miss him so much. The emergency vet bills to try and save him were over 6 thousand dollars.
