Anakin Long Arms

Lazy weekend! Yes, Anakin was sleeping with his legs all stretched out like that :) Thank you so much for all of the well wishes for our dog Buddy. He is about the same, not much better but not any worse either. It's only been a few days though. He goes back to the vet on Thursday. I will keep you all posted. 

Our Dog Buddy is sick.

We took Buddy (he is 14 1/2 years old) to the vet yesterday. Overnight Buddy had gotten very unsteady, walking and stumbling around, was acting like his back legs were bothering him, vomited twice, his eyes were moving back and forth and he was walking with his head tilted to the left. After an exam from our vet and my own internet research we think Buddy has Geriatric Vestibular Syndrome. We are hoping that it is just from an unknown cause or the slight ear infection he has in his left ear. Another alternative is that it is being caused by a brain tumor. GVS can get better on its own with time and treatment for the symptoms like anti nausea medications which Buddy is on now. So far so good. This morning he doesn't seem to be any worse. Actually he seems a little better to me. I will keep you all posted on how he's doing.
