New Video ~ Anakin Loves Da Bird & Hops Like A Bunny!
New Video!! Anakin Loves Da Bird & Hops Like A Bunny! Here's Anakin playing with the cat toy, Da Bird! This is by far his favorite toy. Watch Ani jump & hop to catch Da Bird! I was amazed the first time I saw him jump with both feet off the ground. There really is nothing he can't do! Anakin is Awesome!
It's been asked on Facebook if this hurts Anakin and asked on YouTube if this can cause his rectal problems... No, he is not hurting himself at all. We play with Anakin with Da Bird only on the carpet and only for short periods of time. He isn't jumping all the time. More than one vet has told us that the amount of playing or climbing Ani does has no effect on his rectal problems and can not cause it. This is not an everyday game for Ani. It's just a once in a while game for him & we keep him low to the ground & drag Da Bird. This was just to get a little video of him jumping after we saw him jumping when we swung Da Bird for the other cats.

DeleteOh my goodness how cute is he?? Thank you for not putting some dippy song to the video and letting us hear the kitty sounds (including someone meowing in the background!) I love it!! I know this is new territory for the vets and all, but have they said anything about how his spine will do since he doesn't have his back legs? I notice he arches his back a lot, just wondered if that is okay I mean everything he does seems to be good for his entire body, just wondered about the spine. I am amazed how he balances himself on his two front legs - he is such a cutie!! Thanks for being so awesome in putting all these photos and videos online for us to enjoy his development!! Hugs and kisses from all of us in Ohio!! He is an inspiration.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sara! I don't think they are worried about his spine. As much as cats just relax and sleep most of the time his spine isn't curved when he's doing that. It's just the little bit he's walking. Even when he sits his back is tall and straight. :)
