Anakin Update! It goes one step forward two steps backwards. Ani's poo issues are sorted out but he's still having issues peeing. I won't go into details but let's just say I've been doing a lot of laundry. I took him to the vet this morning for a Dexamethasone anti-inflammatory shot that should help. He's had this shot in the past and it has helped. I also took his urine to be analyzed but I didn't have enough to test it there so it was sent out and will have it back Monday. We really don't think he has a UTI we think it's more inflammation issues due to all the stress he's been through. Overall he acts like he feels a lot better. He's even been out of the bedroom. He's coming in the kitchen for meal times again. He's just not peeing where he supposed to. So hopefully the shot will kick in & I'm also continuing his pain medication and his cream too. Thank you again for all your love and well wishes! I'm sorry I haven't been replying to many comments. I really am exhausted from all of this. I hope you all understand.
No need to respond - just want you to know we are purring and sending good vibes for you all.
ReplyDeleteI can imagine you are exhausted... so I am sending you some purrs in addition to the purrs I'm sending Anakin.
ReplyDeleteCarrie, so sorry to hear this. Glad some aspects are better and will pray Ani is better today and continues to improve. Hope you all can have a Happy Caturday.

ReplyDeleteYes, no worries about responding. Love and purrrrrrrs. Also, if you do get a chance at some point don't feel like you have to respond to this right away, but what do you use for cat pee? You said you were doing a lot of laundry. I have cats and I need help in that laundry department. Love to all of you all.
ReplyDeleteThank you Barbara! <3 I use Cat Odor Off, http://www.entirelypets.com/catodoffco.html?gclid=CNeugOXY69QCFcS1wAodb6UKmw
DeleteWhen a poop issue is under control that really is a good sign. We agree that stress may be the cause of his pee issues.
ReplyDeleteWe are sending purrs and prayers little pal
