Meet Anakin! Ani is a two legged cat, born without a pelvis or back legs but that doesn't stop him. He is full of love & life! My family and I rescued Anakin and I am caring for him. My family and I are lifelong animal lovers and will give Ani the absolute best possible home, love and care. I post updates, photos and videos of Anakin on his website, Facebook page, Twitter, YouTube and other online sites.

Hello
ReplyDeleteI've just found Anakin's videos on youtube and I am now reading his story.
It's really amazing how he can work around his problem and live happy like any other kitten!
I've written a few words on Anakin in my blog, you can read it here:

Greetings from Italy!
Sebastian
Hi Sebastian :) Thank you so much for your kind words and wonderful blog post about Anakin! That was so sweet of you :)
DeleteOh poor Ani, I'm so sorry you are having trouble, but the vet will fix you right up. Love the latest pics of you, am adding them to your own little album on my computer. Carrie, what was his weight on his first visit to the vet? He is really doing so well! We have those tartre control treats for Callie, too. She loves them! Hope his testicles come down. I guess then he will have to be neutered. Ah, there is always something. As you well know. Love, hugs and purrs, Kathy
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Kathy! His weight was 1.02 pounds! He was such a tiny little guy! :) I hope his boy bits show up too so he can be neutered normally too *fingers & toes crossed* xoxo
DeleteThe poor thing sits where his "thingies" would be and without his hind legs to protect them I wouldnt want mine to descend either ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL! Well Brian you are right! ;) The problem with Anakins boy bits staying inside of him is that they will be more likely to develop cancer when he gets older. So we are really hoping they find their way out so he can be neutered normally. If they don't he may require an ultrasound and then surgery to cut them out and I really don't want that to happen.
DeleteLook at the tail on him!! What a beauty he is! You should submit him to The Daily Kitten - they would just love him over there! (I posted that on your Facebook wall, too)
ReplyDeleteThanks Deb! :) Ani was on The Daily Kitten back in June. He got a lot of nice comments there...
